eloquently stated that my RPS clutch failed. I'm sure there are some people here who it possibly could put in the poor house to have to pay labor to replace it and they would by no means have put it as nicely as I did. I even said I liked the clutch up until today. I know very well how the clutch system is designed and what kinds of failures would produce specific symptoms. The only thing I did say was that I *think* something in the pressure plate let loose. Calling what I said a conclusion that the RPS clutch is a problem is unfair of you to say about me, Greg. My post wasn't aimed at slamming RPS, I can do a much better job of slamming a manufacturer than that. My post was a "my day is really sucking ass" post and I made no negative remarks about the RPS clutch.
At this point I am holding off on doing anything until I pull it apart to see what the mode of failure was. I will most likely be asking for a replacement clutch and posting about how good I think RPS is in their committment to customer satisfaction. They sound top notch to me and I'm sure everything will be worked out. I really do like the RPS clutch - dont take me the wrong way cuz I'm having a bad day. :-)
